Project Coordinator (Development Projects) (m/f/d)  – Remote 

Your Mission: 

As a Social Media Specialist in the EUTECH Chamber you will be at the forefront of our digital presence, driving engagement, and creating meaningful interactions with our audience. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand visibility across various social media platforms, with a primary focus on LinkedIn. We are seeking a dynamic individual who is passionate about social media, data-driven decision-making, and driving impactful digital campaigns. 

Your daily tasks: 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a key liaison between local partners, German Rotary Clubs, engineers, and community representatives for communication and collaboration.
  • Project Coordination: Work with German engineers to understand the impact they bring to local development projects, ensuring that their solutions are appropriately tailored to the community’s needs.
  • Development Aid Oversight: Coordinate in implementation of micro-projects in underdeveloped countries, primarily in Asia, ensuring they align with the Foundation’s goals and meet local needs.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates and reports to the project manager, outlining the progress, challenges, and impact of ongoing projects.
  • Training and Capacity Building: support in training sessions with local engineers and Training & Development team to promote sustainable project outcomes.
  • Adherence to Guidelines: Ensure local partners comply with project rules, particularly financial ones, where funds are managed and directed exclusively through German Rotary Clubs and local churches. Ensure that local stakeholders understand that financial requests for direct funding are not permitted.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Environmental Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on water, solar energy, wastewater management, or sustainable development.
  • Proven experience in coordinating development projects, particularly those related to environmental sustainability in underdeveloped areas.
  • Strong project coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of development aid policies and financial management in non-profit projects.
  • Fluency in English
  • Willingness to Travel: Regular travel to project sites in Asia and collaboration with local communities is required.
