HR Specialist (People Management) – German Speaking (m/f/d) – 100 % remote

Your Mission:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented People Management Specialist to support day-to-day HR activities with a focus on German labor law compliance. You will manage employee documentation, respond to HR-related inquiries, coordinate onboarding and offboarding, and ensure that all administrative processes are executed with accuracy and confidentiality.

Your daily tasks:

  • Respond to employee queries on contracts, sick leave, vacation, and HR policies.
  • Maintain and update personnel files in full compliance with DSGVO regulations.
  • Monitor attendance, time tracking, and ensure proper documentation of absences.
  • Draft and send employment contracts, amendments, and confirmations in German.
  • Coordinate submission of social insurance and tax documentation when needed.
  • Prepare onboarding materials and schedule welcome sessions for new joiners.
  • Track probation periods (Probezeit) and support scheduling of manager feedback sessions.
  • Stay informed on labor law updates and communicate relevant changes internally.
  • Support monthly payroll prep by collecting relevant inputs (bonuses, sick days, contract changes).
  • Track and manage visa statuses, work permits, and document validity.
  • Coordinate with the Works Council (Betriebsrat) on applicable personnel matters.
  • Archive all HR actions and documents in German, ensuring audit-readiness.
  • Collaborate with other departments to create or update SOPs aligned with HR policies.
  • Support cross-department communication and smooth HR service delivery.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources.
  • 5+years of experience in recruitment, and performance management.
  • Languages with performance management practices and SOPs conceptualization.
  • Proficient in HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • C1 and higher in German Language.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Must be having High speed internet connection and equipment (Laptop/Headset) to work remotely.
