HR Data Analyst – Advanced Microsoft Excel Specialist (m/f/d) – 100% Remote

Your Mission:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Expert with advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, specifically in complex formulas, data analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and reporting HR data to support our HR operations and strategic decision-making processes. This role requires a deep understanding of HR metrics, proficiency in Excel functions (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and more), and the ability to present data in clear, actionable formats.

Your daily tasks:

  • Collect, organize, and maintain HR-related data, including employee records, attendance, performance metrics, and other key HR data.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular audits and validations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain complex Excel models and dashboards to track and report on HR metrics.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, and conditional formatting to analyze data effectively.
  • Create dynamic pivot tables and charts for data visualization and reporting.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on HR metrics such as employee turnover, headcount, absenteeism, diversity, and performance.
  • Support HR decision-making by providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to understand reporting needs and deliver tailored data solutions.
  •  Identify and implement process improvements related to data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  •  Automate routine data tasks and reporting processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors.

What we are looking for:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
  •  10 + years of experience in data analysis, preferably within an HR environment.
  •   Proven experience with advanced Excel functions and data modeling.
  •   Languages with HRIS systems and data extraction is a plus.
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  •  Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  •  Ability to handle large datasets and complex data analysis.
  •  Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  •  Knowledge of HR metrics and reporting requirements.
  •  Languages with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  •  Knowledge of basic programming (e.g., VBA, SQL) for data automation.
  •  Excellent English language skills are mandatory and strong communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
