Dynamics 365 Business Central / F&O Developer – Workflow Specialist (m/f/d) – 100% Remote

Your Mission:

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer with strong expertise in workflow creation, customization, and process automation across Dynamics 365 Business Central and Finance & Operations (F&O). The ideal candidate will design, develop, test, and deploy custom workflows, Power Automate flows, and extensions to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.

Your daily tasks:

• Design, develop, and customize workflows in Dynamics 365 Business Central and D365 Finance & Operations.

• Build and manage Power Automate (Flow) solutions integrated with D365

• Develop and deploy custom extensions using AL (Business Central) and X++ (F&O)

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical workflow solutions

• Configure approvals, notifications, and business process automation

• Integrate D365 workflows with Azure services, Power Platform, and third-party systems

• Perform unit testing, system testing, and support UAT activities

• Troubleshoot workflow, automation, and performance issues

• Maintain technical documentation and best practices

• Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and stakeholders

• Support post-deployment enhancements and maintenance

What we are looking for:

• Strong experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or Finance & Operations

• Proven expertise in workflow development and customization

• Hands-on experience with Power Automate and Power Platform

• Proficiency in:

  • AL language (Business Central)

  • X++ (D365 F&O)

• Languages with D365 extensions, events, and APIs

• Understanding of business processes (finance, approvals, procurement, etc.)

• Languages with Azure DevOps, LCS, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Good communication and documentation skills
