German-Speaking Content Quality & Proofreading Specialist (m/f/d) – 100 % remote

Your mission:

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced German-Speaking Content Quality & Proofreading Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and ensuring the grammatical accuracy, consistency, and overall quality of German-language content. This position requires a deep understanding of German grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax, as well as proficiency in various dialects and styles of the German language.

Your daily tasks:

• Proofread and edit German-language content for grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors.
• Ensure the correct application of German grammar rules and stylistic consistency throughout the documents.
• Collaborate with content writers, translators, and editors to maintain a high standard of language quality.
• Perform quality checks on translated and original content to ensure accuracy and fluency in German.
• Ensure timely delivery of proofread and quality-checked documents, adhering to deadlines.

What we are looking for:

• Native-level fluency in German with excellent grammar and language skills.
• Strong knowledge of German grammar, punctuation, and syntax rules.
• Proven experience in proofreading, editing, or translation work.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
• Familiarity with e.g., MS Word, Adobe Acrobat
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Degree in German Linguistics, Translation, Journalism, or a related field
• Languages in content creation or translation in a professional setting.
