Ghostwriter – Autobiographies & Books (m/f/d) – remote

Your Mission:

Ghostwriter, you will work closely with clients to craft engaging, well-written books and autobiographies in German. Your primary responsibility will be to capture the voice, experiences, and vision of the client, transforming them into polished manuscripts. This role requires exceptional storytelling skills, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines.

Your daily tasks

• Collaborate with clients to understand their personal stories, experiences.
• Write, revise, and edit books, autobiographies, and other long-form content i
• Ensure the client’s stories are authentically represented.
• Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and depth where necessary.
• Deliver high-quality drafts within the agreed timelines.
• Maintain client confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
• Incorporate feedback and make revisions as required.

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience in ghostwriting, with a portfolio that includes books and/or autobiographies.
• Strong storytelling, narrative structuring, and editing skills.
• Ability to adapt to different writing styles.
• Excellent research skills, especially in gathering background information to enrich the narrative.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Discretion and professionalism when dealing with high-profile or private clients.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Languages writing in other genres such as memoirs, non-fiction, or fiction is a plus.
• Previous collaboration with publishers or editorial teams.
• Familiarity with the publishing industry and manuscript formatting.
